Today’s Guest Post is from Tyler. Tyler enjoys traveling and goes to Disney World whenever he can. He is a writer for Cabletv.com and enjoys blogging about his vacations. He also happens to be a Disney Honeymoon veteran and is going to tell us why he thinks you should consider Disney World for your honeymoon.
Planning a honeymoon can be very stressful and exciting at the same time. You want everything to be perfect and that starts with the destination you choose. Most people picture their honeymoon to be a destination that is secluded, private and quiet. I know you are probably thinking that Disney World is the opposite of that, however, it is the perfect place to go.
It has almost been 4 years now since my beautiful wife and I went on our honeymoon to Disneyworld. I know that everyone thinks that their honeymoon was the best destination to go to and that is fine. I’m sure there are lots of great destinations, but if you didn’t go to Disneyworld you missed out. If you are planning a honeymoon then there is only one decision that you need to make, which Disney Villa should we stay at.
The Disney Villas offer that quiet, private, secluded feel that everyone is looking for. The rooms are spacious and make you feel right at home. Disney goes all out to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you are looking to do something a little extra then call ahead and talk to the resort. I called and let them know that we were on our honeymoon and asked if they would put some flowers in the room. When we walked into the room I was just as surprised as my wife. The whole room was covered in fresh rose pedals and there was a dozen roses laid on the bed in a heart shape with a large gift basket on the counter. The resort had everything we wanted, nice restaurants, clean rooms, quiet beach on the lake plus we where minutes away from all the Disney Parks, what else could you ask for.
I know the parks can get a little crazy with all the kids and crowds, but if you go to the park in the evenings it is less crowded and you can just sit down at one of the nice restaurants and enjoy the evening. Later in the evening you can ride a few of your favorite rides and then enjoy the nightly firework show with your new spouse and best friend. After the fireworks the parks empty out but usually don’t close right away. My wife and I used this time to just wonder around each park and enjoy the lights and quiet time. Epcot is the best at night because you can just wonder through the world showcase around the lake and enjoy the culture of each country.
Although there are a lot of great honeymoon destinations, Disney World is the best in my opinion. It has everything you could ask for: fine dining, entertainment, scenery, culture, and fireworks. However, the best part no matter where you go is just being with the person you love and starting your life together.
